About scholarships:

The International Maritime College Oman (IMCO) is offering one scholarship for each target country in one of the following: 

Nautical Studies

Target countries:
  • Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
  • Tanzania
  • Indonesia
  • Nigeria
Terms and Procedures:

The concerned authority in the target country shall announce the scholarship requirements and criteria, which must be in line with the minimum admission criteria applicable to IMCO.
They will also finalize the selection procedures independently, and then send the selected student’s name and details to the International Maritime College of Oman.

The International Maritime College of Oman (IMCO) requires the following admission criteria:
  • General Education Diploma (Grade 12 Certificate) or equivalent.
  • All applicants must have studied English, Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics.
  • Applicants for Marine Engineering and Process Engineering programmes must also have studied Chemistry and Physics.
  • The duration of the study with the scholarship is 5 academic years, including the Foundation Program if required.
  • The scholarship includes tuition fees only.
  • The scholarship does not include transportation, accommodation and living costs.
  • The college academic terms and conditions apply.
