The Maritime Department conducted Graduation Project Competition which was attended by external assessors: Dr. Asim Murtaza from Military College, Capt. Ala'a Aziz, Operations Superintendent of ASYAD Shipping, and Capt. Ahmad Hamdy, Svitzer Manager at Sohar Port.

أقيمت مسابقة مشاريع التخرج لطلبة السنة النهائية لقسم الدراسات البحرية بحضور عدد من الأفاضل العاملين في المجال البحري لتقييم مشاريع الطلبة.

نبارك للطالبة بثينة المقبالية والدكتور فيصل المرزوقي من قسم الهندسة حصولهما على جائزة الباحثين العمانيين الشباب في مجال المياة المقدمة من مركز الشرق الأوسط لأبحاث تحلية المياه عن بحثهم في مجال المحفزات الضوئية.

Marine Engineering Students Mr Mohammed Khaleel Al Windawi and Mr Sadiq Jaffar Ali presented a research paper titled " Modeling and Simulation of Matrix converters for Marine Electric Propulsion" in 6th Student Conference organized by Middle east college, Muscat under the supervision of Dr.Abdul Hameed Kalifullah

The Foundation Society organized a beach clean-up

The Foundation Society organized a beach clean-up campaign. A dedicated group of Foundation and Diploma students, along with teachers, collaborated to clean the beach. The purpose of this event was to promote environmental awareness and to instill a sense of responsibility towards nature.
